Large crowds turn out for Tryon Midnight

On New Year’s Eve, large crowds rang in 2023 at Tryon’s one-of-a-kind New Year’s Eve celebration, Tryon Midnight.
The celebration kicked off at 7 p.m., near the clock tower, and folks enjoyed the fun, despite the misty and wet weather. The signature ball drop took place at 10:00 p.m.
The event featured live music from Asheville-based band Hustle Souls, as well as DJ Andy Millard and special guest Dean Trakas.
Tryon Midnight was presented by the Town of Tryon and Tryon Downtown Development Association and was sponsored by Main Street Insurance.
