Tryon Elementary 5th-graders decorate tree in downtown Tryon

On Friday, December 2, Tryon Elementary 5th-graders helped decorate the tree in downtown Tryon.
Mrs. Edward’s, Mrs. Godley’s, and Mrs. Kennedy’s 5th-grade students decorated a Christmas tree in downtown Tryon with handmade ornaments made in their art teacher Mr. Mullinax’ class.
They were joined by Town Manager Zach Ollis, the school’s principal, Dr. Cari Maneen, their art teacher Mr. Mullinax, and Tryon Elementary retired teacher Mrs. Rogers.
Students also sang Christmas carols around the tree.
