Celebrate Nature at FENCE festival will take place on Sunday, October 30 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. FENCE is excited to be able to offer this great outdoor community event at no cost to attend. The event is a great opportunity to get together with family and friends to enjoy good music, free food, nature and kids activities, live animal encounters, face painting, and much more! With Halloween right around the corner, FENCE encourages everyone to wear their costumes and bring along a treat bag to collect goodies during the event.

This year’s festival will feature music from Chris Wayne and Angela Easterling.

Chris Wayne is a singer-songwriter from Greenville, SC playing the music of 1950s Americana. Chris plays originals along with covers of Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, and Little Richard to name a few. His originals reflect blended influences of Rock, Swing, Country, Delta Blues, and New Orleans R&B.

Angela Easterling brandishes her songwriting chops with rootsy, refreshing, homespun tunes. Her duo partner, Brandon Turner, masters many complex styles, with instrumentation that fleshes out the stories in Angela’s songs, and adds some rocking fun and harmony. Their act is not quite country, not quite folk, but altogether unique and engaging.

This event is made possible by the Kirby Endowment at Polk County Community Foundation. FENCE is located at 3381 Hunting Country Road in Tryon, North Carolina.
