Polk County’s varsity football game at R-S Central has been rescheduled for Thursday, Sept. 29 at 7:30 p.m.

With the projected path of Hurricane Ian expected to push rain into the area on Friday, the two schools have decided to play the Mountain Foothills 7 Conference matchup a day earlier to avoid the precipitation.

The junior varsity game between the two schools has also been rescheduled and will now be played Thursday, Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. in G.M. Tennant Stadium.
