Green Creek– Daniel Leslie Day, 65, of Green Creek passed away Monday morning, September 20, 2022, in the arms of his wife Melinda.
He was the son of the late Ruth and Ansel Day, born March 21, 1957, in Polk County, where he resided most of his life.
Danny was fun-loving and quick-witted with a sarcastic sense of humor.  He was passionate about music, loved the outdoors, and enjoyed being at home with his family and dogs.
In addition to his wife, Melinda Benson Day, he is survived by two daughters, Brandi Leigh Day and Danielle Lanette Day: a sister, Gale Mills, and many nieces and nephews. Danny was predeceased by two brothers, Mike Wolfe and Ricky Day: and a sister, Sharon Day Arledge.
“He will be missed dearly.”
Services will be private.
