The WNC Bridge Foundation is providing funding for the Christmas Bicycle Experience, an event hosted by Pedal Up, Inc. 

 

Pedal Up, Inc.’s mission is to improve the lives of underserved youth in Western North Carolina through biking. Their focus is to give away bicycles and teach riding skills and maintenance to those who may not otherwise have the opportunity to own and enjoy a bike.  

 

Grant funding from WNC Bridge Foundation will provide funding for the Christmas Bicycle Experience Program this December. This is an event for youth to learn basic biking skills, bike safety, and bike and trail maintenance. At the end of the clinic, children will receive a free bicycle and helmet. Pedal Up, Inc. aims to provide the necessary biking knowledge and skills for these deserving young riders to experience the joy of biking for years to come.
