Landrum– Lou Ann McDade Smith, 85, of Landrum passed away on September 6, 2022. She was the daughter of the late James and Minnie Belue McDade.
Lou Ann was forever willing to help people around her and will be remembered for her kind and loving heart.
She is survived by her loving children Tammy Nix (Brent) of Hendersonville, NC, and Scott Smith of Dallas, TX and her granddaughter Alivia Nix who she adored; and her caregiver Sharon Holcombe.
She was preceded in death by her brother James McDade, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Lynn Stewart.
The burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
The family is at the home of Brent and Tammy Nix.
