The event will now take place next Saturday, September 17.

Tricia Taber, Landrum City Marketing Director, says, “Mother nature is not cooperating with us. It’s looking like a 90 percent chance of rain for that day. We’re looking forward to sunshine next weekend.”

The schedule for Hog Back Mountain Day has been altered, and the new schedule is available on the City of Landrum website.

The petting zoo on Trade Avenue will begin at 1 p.m. and last until 5 p.m. Music will be provided by Retro 78 Bluegrass Music, as well as Cale Swift along Trade Ave. Carnival rides and food vendors will begin at 2 p.m., though The Well’s Summer Sizzle event has been canceled. Unfortunately, The Well was unable to be present next Saturday due to a large church event.

Hog Back Mountain Day will begin at 8 a.m. at the Landrum Farmers Market Pavilion, as previously planned, and will end on Trade Avenue at 6 p.m.
