WNCSource is hosting an Early Childhood Education Job Fair on Thursday, September 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the new Forest City Children’s Center at 483 South Broadway St. in Forest City.
The ECE Job Fair is exclusively for Rutherford and Polk County residents and offers a variety of childcare positions that require a minimum of a high school diploma up to a four-year degree. On-site interviews will be conducted for teachers, family advocates, site supervisors, and floater classroom support positions currently open in WNCSource’s Early Head Start Centers in Rutherford and Polk Counties.
“We’re excited about the ECE Job Fair and the opportunity to recruit talented, experienced professionals who want to work in early childhood education. These are good-paying jobs, ranging from $14 to $23 per hour, that come with an excellent benefits package! We hope to have a good turnout.” said Linda Carter, Children’s Services Director for WNCSource.
