The Creation Care team at the Congregational Church in Tryon was interested in using only native plants for its future plantings on campus. This past spring, many native plants were planted in the front of the church.
In the native plant garden, you will find many natives, including fothergilla, rattlesnake master, green and gold, bee balm, Barbara’s button, Liatris, hyssop, Black-Eyed Susan, and sneezeweed, to name a few. We hear the Black-Eyed Susan will be in bloom any day now.
The community is encouraged to stop by to have a look at the impressive native plantings.
