Town of Columbus now accepting applications for vendors
COLUMBUS- This fall, the town of Columbus will be hosting the Wood Carvers, Whittlers, and Wood Crafters Festival. The event will take place on the lawn of the historic Polk County Courthouse and will feature a variety of vendors, both professional and amateur, who will be selling unique, hand-carved wood products.
The festival will be free to attend and will be held in conjunction with the Columbus Farmer’s Market on Saturday, October 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A family friendly environment will be offered with plenty of kid’s activities, such as inflatables, live music, and much more.
The town of Columbus is now accepting applications from individuals who want to showcase their artwork and become a vendor for the festival. The application can be acquired by going to www.discovercolumbusnc.com or by picking up a physical copy at Town Hall in Columbus. The completed application and a $25 fee are required to serve as a vendor for the event.
