What has happened to all the bees, hummingbirds and butterflies? We have both a flower garden area and a larger wildflower area, and we never use any insecticides. Until this spring and early summer, we would have large numbers of bees and butterflies buzzing and flying all around the property along with a substantial number of hummingbirds visiting our feeders. This year, almost none. Is there something going on about which we are unaware? A pesticide spraying project? Does anyone have a guess?
