The Rotary Club of Tryon was chartered in 1927 and since that time has been committed to service projects both locally and internationally. Each year the club identifies one of its members whose service to Rotary has been extraordinary as the Rotarian of the Year.
This year’s recipient is Ken Shull. During the past year, Ken has served as District Governor of Rotary District 7670. In this capacity, he was responsible for providing leadership, motivation and guidance to the 47 Rotary Clubs in Western North Carolina.
The members of the Rotary Club of Tryon extend their appreciation to Ken for his service to Rotary and congratulate him on being named Rotarian of the Year.
