SALUDA––On Wednesday evening, both lanes of traffic on I-26 East were briefly shut down due to a single motor vehicle accident.

A Toyota truck crashed into the guard rail, causing extensive damage to the vehicle. Saluda Fire and Rescue officials were unaware of any injuries  to the driver. The accident occurred one mile from the Saluda exit.
