Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

We all know how important it is to continue learning through the summer while school is out! Sign up now for the 2022 Summer Learning Program with Polk County Public Libraries at Columbus Library, Saluda Library, or polklibraries.readsquared.com. The learning incentive program runs for eight weeks, from June 13 until August 7.

Kids and teens can pick up a packet at the library that contains a brag tag to start your collection, eight learning goal bookmarks, and a list of learning goal ideas. Each week, set and achieve two learning goals for a new brag tag, an entry into our weekly prize drawing, and an entry into our grand prize drawings!

Kids events are on Thursdays at 2 p.m. and feature a magician, live animal programs, an aerial acrobatic performance, and more! Teen programs are on alternating Wednesdays at 2 p.m. and include a snack, video games, and crafts. Visit polklibrary.org/programs for details as some events require registration.

There is also a summer challenge for adults! Pick up a challenge card at the library or register online and complete challenges throughout the summer for a chance to win a gift card from a local business.
