Small brush fire started by power line

 

TRYON––Around 1:30 on Monday afternoon, Tryon Fire Department was dispatched to Hogback Mountain Road for a brush fire involving a power line.

Officials at Tryon Fire Department say the small brush fire was somehow started by the power line. Duke Energy was on scene to remove the line. No houses or people were injured during the fire.

North Carolina Forest Service was on scene as well.
