April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Steps to Hope in Columbus is marking it with the Clothesline Project. T-shirts with messages on them such as “Let’s just keep this our little secret,” “Break the Silence!,” “No Means No,” and “Speak up even if your voice shakes,” sway in the breeze in front of the agency. Each shirt was decorated by a survivor of sexual abuse or domestic assault, or a family member or supporter of a survivor.
