The Rotary Club of Tryon installed a new little library for the students of Tryon Elementary School last week.
The little library was a joint project between the Rotary Club and the school. Several years ago, the students at the school painted the little library as part of an art class project. After a COVID delay, the Rotarians were finally able to do their part and mount the library on the school campus.
The little library is in front of the office at Tryon Elementary and will offer children’s books for kids to take home on a “take a book, leave a book” basis.
Lots of kids came out to help celebrate the installation!
