The F250 had two pistols inside the truck.

Later that same day, Deputy Page and Deputy Guerrero of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office located both the Volkswagen and F250 at a residence on Burt Blackwell Road in Mill Spring.  The deputies cleared the residence to perform a search warrant and were able to find the two stolen pistols from the F250, as well as the vehicle’s keys inside the residence.

Both the Volkswagen and the F250 were returned to their owners within hours.

The two men arrested for larceny of a motor vehicle and possession of a stolen vehicle were Kenneth Lee McDowell of South Carolina and Aaron Cody Dillon of South Carolina.  Dillon was given a $16,000 bond and was picked up by South Carolina Probation and Parole for outstanding warrants out of South Carolina, which included escaping from home detention.
