Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Sacred and Gospel Music was the theme for the Foothills Music Club meeting on Thursday, February 10 at Tryon First Baptist Church.  Members enjoyed hearing arrangements of traditional hymns and spirituals such as “What a Friend We Have in Jesus,”  “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot,”  “Go Down Moses,” and many others.

Participating in the program were Tryon First Baptist Church organist Leslie Raymond, Susan Hartley on tenor recorder, Elaine Grella on flute and Karen Crutchfield, Annette Hudson, and Jim Hawkins, all on piano.
