Mill Spring, NC–Richard Boney “Rick” Giles, age 66, born April 15, 1955 of Mill Spring, NC, died Wednesday, December 15, 2021. A native of Polk County, NC, he was the son of JB Giles and Mary Lee Jackson. A dedicated employee, he worked for Delta Electrical for 30 plus years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Doris Hooper, brother Donald Griffin, and son Brian Giles.

A loving husband, father, and Papaw, he is survived by his loving wife, Kim Russell Giles, children: April, Ricky (Brittany), Andrew and his wife Courtney, Daniel and wife Rebecca, Vanessa, and Jennifer. Grandchildren: Bria, Jonathan, Mara, Leah, Asher, Koah, Kenslie, Kristyn, Blake, Amelia, Lillian, Scarlett, Eli and Laney, (and one more on the way). Brother: James, and sisters: Barbara, Dorothy, and Pat.

Visitation will be at his home, 10 Mary Lee Drive, Mill Spring, NC. Saturday December 18, 2021 from 12-5pm as a drop in service.
