If you are getting worried about packing on the pounds this month as we approach the biggest eating day of the year  – Thanksgiving – trot with us for a healthier Holiday Season at the 2nd Annual Virtual Turkey Trot 5k! This virtual 5k is held by the Polk County Health and Wellness Coalition. The registration fee for the Turkey Trot 5k is $25, and you must pay your registration fee to be officially registered.

 

You will receive an official Turkey Trot 5k T-shirt and a 5k medal upon completion of the Turkey Trot! Deadline to sign up is November 18, so don’t wait. Sign up now, recruit your family and friends and trot for the health of it!

 

During the week of Thanksgiving — November 21-27 — run and/or walk any time that is convenient for you — as long as you eventually put in a grand total of 5 kilometers or 3.11 miles. Don’t forget to share photos of yourself in action on our Facebook event page
