In Polk County District Court on July 28, 2021, with Judge Gene Johnson presiding, 145 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Stacy Camp Baughman was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Baughman was to pay court costs.
Tommy Russel Bumgarner was convicted of possession of alcohol on Green River. Bumgarner was to pay court costs.
Jakob Randall Ceane was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Ceane was fined $25 and court costs.
Demetrus Nmn Dalton was convicted of possession marijuana. Dalton was fined $100 and court costs.
Kayleb Richard Emmons was convicted of failure to maintain lane control. Emmons was to pay court costs.
Jason Robert Fox was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Fox was fined $25 and court costs.
Ronald L. Holcombe was convicted of assault on a female. Holcombe was sentenced to 55 days in jail with credit for time served and court costs.
John Earl Richards was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Richards was sentenced to one day in jail with credit.
Simon Joe Spicer was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Spicer was to pay court costs.
Logan Todd Tester was convicted of possession of alcohol on Green River. Tester was to pay court costs.
Jerry Lewis Toney was convicted of deface/write on/mark/injure public property and injury to personal property. Toney was sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit.
In Polk County District Court on Aug. 4, 2021, with Judge Emily Cowan presiding, 167 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Keagan Dean Henson was convicted of violation of court order. Henson consented to plea over video and got credit for 60 days of pretrial time.
Matthew Keil Kensland was convicted of felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, breaking and or entering and 2 counts of possession of methamphetamine. Kensland was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 24 hours of community service and court costs.
Jonthan Pritchard was convicted of shoplifting concealment goods. Pritchard was sentenced to 5 days in jail with credit for time served.
Robin J. Rhodes was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Rhodes was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
Craig Raymond Tronzo was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Tronzo was fined $200 and court costs.
Graldine S. Wynn was convicted of level 5 diving while impaired. Wynn was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Marco Antoni Calderon was convicted of level 4 driving while impaired and possession of drug paraphernalia. Calderon was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 12 days in jail with credit, a $300 fine and court costs.
Marcavus Rynel Carson was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Carson was fined $50 and court costs.
Madison Ann Fagan was convicted of failure to comply with community service. Fagan was sentenced to 1 day in jail.
Christopher A. Griffey was convicted of dig/remove/possess ginseng. Griffey was fined $100 and court costs.
Amy Belinda Lowright was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Lowright was fined $40 and court costs.
Joseph Franklin Phelps was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Phelps was sentenced to 8 days in jail with credit for time served.
Lauren Brook Ravan was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Ravan was fined $20 and court costs.
Dalton Keith Sheehan was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Sheehan was fined $50 and court costs.
Renee Stokes was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Stokes was sentenced to 14 days in jail with credit for time served.
Donnie Dewayne Strange was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting a public officer. Strange was sentenced to 5 days in jail with credit for time served.
Jason Justin Twitty was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Twitty was fined $250 and court costs.
Ashley Elizabeth Watson was convicted of maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Watson was sentenced to 18 days in jail with credit for time served.
