In response to Doug Brinson’s letter denigrating the Covid-19 vaccine. The vaccine HAS been approved by FDA. True, it was an emergency approval, but if this isn’t an emergency, what is? Should we wait three years while millions die so you can feel more comfortable

Second, when citing a source, in this case the CDC website, it is important not to take the information out of context. True, the cite reports that there were 4,863 deaths reported after receiving a Covid vaccine. But here’s the context, “Over 285 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered in the United States from December 14, 2020, through May 24, 2021. During this time, VAERS received 4,863 reports of death (0.0017%) among people who received a Covid-19 vaccine. CDC and FDA physicians review each case report of death as soon as notified and CDC requests medical records to further assess reports. A review of available clinical information, including death certificates, autopsy and medical records has not established a causal link to Covid-19 vaccines.” Got that? No causal link.
We should all be grateful to both God and science that there is a safe and effective vaccine to bring us out of this horror. Do yourself, your loved ones and our world a favor and get the shot!
