Polk County District Court results

In Polk County District Court at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, with Judge Kim Justice presiding, 51 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court. 

The following persons were convicted of a crime: 

Aimee Joy Albright was convicted of level 4 driving while impaired. Albright was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $350 fine and court costs.

Jasmine L. Brewer was convicted of a felony probation violation. Brewer was sentenced to 90 days in jail. 

Michael Louis Churm was convicted of alter/remove gun serial number. Churm was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service and court costs. 

Madison Ann Fagan was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired and driving after consuming under age 21. Fagan was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $300 in fines and court costs. 

Millanne Garcia was convicted of speeding 84 mph in a 70 mph zone. Garcia was fined $100 and court costs. 

Collin Ray Hipp was convicted of possession of fortified wine/liquor/malt beverage under age 21 and possession of open container/consumption of alcohol in passenger area. Hipp was fined $100 and court costs. 

In Polk County District Court at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, with Judge Kim Justice presiding, 43 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court. 

The following persons were convicted of a crime: 

Phorizene D. Foster was convicted of carrying a concealed weapon. Foster was sentenced to 2 days in jail with credit for time served. 

Joel Clay McEntire was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. McEntire was sentenced to 2 days in jail with credit for time served. 

William D. Mosseller was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Mosseller was fined $50 and court costs. 

Joshua Michael Sylva was convicted of possession of marijuana greater than ½ ounce to 1 and ½ ounces. Sylva was fined $50 and court costs. 

Jinsey Rayne Towery was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Towery was sentenced to 1 day in jail with credit for time served. 

Stephen Austin Wade was convicted of speeding 104 mph in a 70 mph zone. Wade was fined $104 and court costs. 

Kayla Nichole Wishon was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Wishon was sentenced to one year supervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
