I recently completed the 40-hour Sheriff’s Citizens Academy Class 2020-2021. I would like to commend the entire Polk County Sheriff’s Department for an outstanding achievement providing an exceptional education opportunity for local residents to learn the complex and related operations of law enforcement. I strongly recommend that anyone with an interest to appreciate what our law enforcement people provide for us every day; it is time well spent! Thank you, Polk County Sheriff’s Department.
