COLUMBUS – Clifford Edwin “Bub” McDade, 87, of Columbus passed away

on January 26, 2021.
He was the son of the late John and Agnes McDade and husband of the
late Delores McDade.

He opened McDade’s Garage in 1960 and served in the US Army. He was a member
of Sandy Plains ARP Church and attended Mill Creek Church.  He was a
volunteer at the Meeting Place for almost 20 years.

He is survived by a son, Floyd McDade; a daughter Vickie Born; a brother
Chalmers McDade; a sister Shirley Burrell; two grandchildren Byron Born and
Brandon McDade; and a great grandchild Aden Kimbrell.

He was predeceased by four brothers John Dean McDade, Preston McDade, Billy
McDade and Norris McDade and a grandson Zakary Born.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at
Petty Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Steve Abe.  Burial will be in Sandy
Plains ARP Church Cemetery.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family request that face masks and social
distancing be observed by those planning to attend.
