RUTHERFORDTON – Andrea Erskine Morgan, 72, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away January 14, 2021.  Born June 2, 1948, she grew up with parents Charles Robert Erskine and Elizabeth Law in Tryon, NC where she was avidly involved in music and equestry. After graduating from Tryon High School, she studied to be a classical soprano in New York and acting at the Barter Theatre in Virginia. Andrea wed second husband, Neil Anderson Morgan, 1977 and raised six children in Rutherfordton. After a spiritual awakening in 1983, she became a founding member of Evangel Fellowship in Forest City, NC. All who knew Andrea remember a warm, ebullient and generous woman, deeply devoted to church and family.
She is survived by her sister, Saundra Vance, her brother, Samuel Vance, by her sons, Rauben Behrends and Cody Morgan and her daughters, Trinity Behrends, Meghan Morgan, Rebekah Morgan and Julia Maxwell. She brightened the lives of her eight grandchildren, Violet, Oliver, Dashel, Imogen, River, Kara, Stella and Alanah. She is also survived by her first husband, William Behrends.
