Letter to the Editor

My wife and I received our first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine yesterday at the Tryon International Equestrian Center. The process took one hour and ten minutes from the time of our in-processing at the facility entrance until our exit, including 15 minutes to ensure no adverse reaction had occurred. The entire staff there was unfailingly courteous, fully prepared and organized and helpful in answering our questions.

My thanks to you and the employees of Polk County who worked so hard to organize the distribution of the vaccine in such a smooth, professional manner. Their efforts clearly paid off. It was in great contrast to other vaccine roll-outs, such as those in Florida.

Well Done!!!
