ROCK HILL — Trevor Jeffrey Arrowood passed away January 5, 2021 at Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC surrounded by his family. Trevor fought gallantly through his battle with cancer and touched many lives along the way. 

 

A native of Polk County, Trevor graduated from PCHS in 2014. He went on to graduate with honors from WCU in 2017 and later the SC Criminal Justice Academy in 2018.

Trevor’s career in law enforcement began in 2017 with Rock Hill PD in Rock Hill, SC. He will be remembered for his work ethic, quick wit and contagious smile. A huge thank you to his brothers and sisters in blue and the town of Rock Hill for all the love and support shown to Trevor and his family.  

 

Survivors left to cherish fond memories are his parents, Jeff and Kerry Arrowood of Green Creek, sisters Jessica Arrowood of Saluda, Maddy Arrowood of Green Creek and nieces Katelyn Arrowood and Kylee Dalton. Also surviving are his girlfriend, Jordan Tilley of Rock Hill and their fur baby, Bidey. Paternal grandparents are Hardy and Evelyn Arrowood of Green Creek, maternal grandparents are Margaret and Preston White of Green Creek and Dennis Wolfe of Alabama. Trevor also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly. 

 

Trevor was a member of Mill Creek Church of the Brethren in Columbus NC. 

 

Trevor cherished his time with his SAE brothers at Western Carolina. The family is thankful for the kindness shown to them by the fraternity. Trevor was also a member in good standing with the Fraternal Order of Police. 

 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Rogers Park in Tryon, NC. The family requests that masks be worn and social distancing be observed. 

 

Prior to the service, Trevor will lie in state at McFarland Funeral Chapel in Tryon, NC from noon until 1:45 pm. All are welcome to drive thru and pay their respects. 

 

Pallbearers are Will Ballard, Brad Van Duyne, Holden Owens, Zane Capozzi, Wes Brady and

Tanner Garrett.

 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC or to a scholarship fund in Trevor’s name. For the scholarship, donations may be made to First Citizens bank Attn:

The family would like to thank Dr. Eric Skipper and Dr. Michael Livingston of Carolina’s Medical Center along with their staff for the compassionate care Trevor received for the last 2 1/2 years. Another thank you to local law enforcement in NC and SC for bringing Trevor home.
