LANDRUM, NC – Lois Colleen Decker, 72, of Landrum passed away, Tuesday morning, December 15, 2020 at the Solace Center in Asheville. Born in Brown County, IN, she was the daughter of Stanley O. Sullivan of Montezuma, GA and the late Margorie Ackerman Sullivan. Ms. Decker moved to Landrum in 2000 and finished her working career at Autumn Care of Saluda as an LPN. She enjoyed piano, board games, sewing and Thrift Store shopping. Ms. Decker attended Foothills Community Chapel. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lydia Ruth Knox. Surviving are five sons, Paul Decker (Elizabeth) of Cuba, MO, James Decker (Leisha) of Claflin, KS, Joel Decker (Jessica) of Moultrie, GA, Jeremy Decker (Pamela) of Chesnee, SC and Johnny Decker of
Landrum; one daughter, Charity Hostetler (Norman) of Russellville, KY; four sisters, Annette Leinaweaver of Landrum, Mickey Bontrager of Goshen, IN, Lydia Overholt of Montezuma, GA and Jennifer Love of Montezuma, GA. Also surviving are thirty-one grandchildren and sixteen great- grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening, December 19, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Foothills Community Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Foothills Community Chapel
with Reverend Paul Beiler officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
