Polk County Middle School is now accepting student registrations for its annual Jump Start Program, slated for August 6-7 from 8 a.m. until noon.

During Jump Start, students will receive a tour of the campus, meet their teachers and practice a day’s schedule. Per state-mandated guidelines, students and staff will wear face masks and follow proper social distancing procedures. Breakfast and lunch will be served.

The program is free and open to any rising sixth grader. Students with last names beginning A-M will attend Jump Start on August 6 while students with last names N-Z will attend on August 7.
