The Polk County Historical Association is pleased to announce the reopening of the history museum in downtown Columbus. Current plans are to open the museum on a gradual basis so during the month of June the Polk County Historical Museum will be open on Saturdays only. The doors will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Until further notice there will be a limit of 10 visitors inside the museum at any given time.

According to PCHA President Pat McCool the current hope is to reopen additional days beginning in early July. The Polk County Historical Museum is located at 60 Walker Street in the Town of Columbus.
