Nursing and dental assisting admissions adjusted
The Fall 2020 admissions criteria for the practical nursing and dental assisting programs at Isothermal Community College have been revised in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, college officials said Wednesday.
The new system will not be based on testing, due to the difficulty of proper distancing and scheduling. Instead, applicants will be evaluated on a points-based system, said Ava Yamouti, Isothermal’s dean of Health and Public Services.
Interested potential students should contact Tina Porter at tporter@isothermal.edu or 828-395-1621.
