Prior to her move to North Carolina, Win and Jim lived in Califon, New Jersey. Win was the first lady of Califon when Jim served as Mayor there. After Jim’s death, Win moved to Tryon. She did live in Connecticut for a few years, but when she returned to Tryon, friends were glad to welcome her “home”. Win enjoyed many activities including visiting local places of interest, acting in original plays written by other residents, and becoming an expert at Rummy Cube!

Win was the matriarch of many generations of Lennon cousins who were so proud to be her family.   The family is truly grateful to her caregivers, Mary Ann Sain and Loretta Smith and all those who loving cared for her from Hospice and St. John the Baptist Church where she was a member.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Yonkers, New York. Contributions can be made to charity of your choice in the name of Winifred L. Ball.
