Polk Sheriff’s Office arrests Mill Spring man
MILL SPRING—The Polk County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Mill Spring man on several charges related to the sexual abuse of a child under 15 years old.
Roger McIntosh, 37, of Mill Spring, was arrested and charged with first degree forcible rape; indecent liberties with a child; sexual activity by a substitute parent or guardian on a child under the age of 16 and statutory offense on a child under 15 when the defendant is at least 6 years older than the victim, according to sheriff’s office reports.
Sheriff’s office officials said after an extensive investigation, detectives with the criminal investigations division charged McIntosh.
McIntosh is being held at the Polk County Detention Center under a $250,000 bond.
The sheriff’s office said it is continuing to work with the District Attorney’s Office, the Polk County Department of Social Services, the victim and the victim’s family in the case.
