Vote for the Mount Rushmore of Polk County athletes

From now through April 30, you can vote for the four athletes that you think would be part of a mythical Mount Rushmore of Polk County High School athletics.

The 24 nominees were chosen from reader submissions. To be included, an athlete had to be nominated at least twice.

Voting is open until 8 p.m. on April 30. The results will be announced on May 3 on PolkSports. Readers can vote once per week. While this is a fun exercise, any incident of ballot stuffing will result in more restrictive security measures being added.

A second vote in May will focus on the four coaches and administrators who would comprise a similar Mount Rushmore.
