Polk County creates special COVID-19 Nixle
POLK COUNTY—Polk County has set up a special Nixle for residents to keep up to date with the Coronavirus locally.
People interested and getting updates can text COVID19PC to 888777.
Polk County Manager Marche Pittman said county officials hope to send daily updates out to the group.
As of Wednesday morning, there were still no confirmed cases in Polk County, although some tests have been done and officials are still awaiting results.
