Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The March meeting of the Foothills Music Club was held at the home of Jacqueline Wasniewski in Landrum.   The program consisted of music by women composers from the Renaissance to the present. Members performed vocally and on piano, flute, bassoon, and melodicas.  Some of the composers represented were Vittoria Aleotti, Libby Larson, Judith Lang Zaimont, Katherine Hoover, and Lena Orsa. A highlight of the program was the performance of several vocal selections and a sonatina for flute and piano by Tryon composer , Rita Landrum.
