Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

As performance events are getting cancelled left and right, TFAC is doing the opposite. They are adding a live performance. It’s our “Social Distancing Music Event” to help brighten people’s day.

This Tuesday, March 17 on St. Patrick’s Day, Tryon Fine Arts Center will host the first ever our “Drive-Thru Music” event from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Attendees will stay in their cars. They will drive into TFAC’s circular drive, roll down their window and Jamie Laval will play a song for them on his violin. Since this event will be on St. Patrick’s Day, Jamie will perform Irish jigs and other bouncy tunes that put a spring in one’s step and make one think of leprechauns.

Attendees may also park in TFAC’s parking lot to listen to the music. Others are welcome to bring a lawn chair and sit six feet from one another to enjoy the music for as long as they wish.
