WHO: Children who live in the Polk Central Elementary School attendance area and will be 5 years old, on or before August 31st, 2020

 

WHEN & WHERE: Kindergarten Registration will be held in the Media Center at Polk Central Elementary School beginning at 8:00 a.m., Friday, March 13. Our Kindergarten teachers will share information regarding school readiness and ways to help your child gear up for Kindergarten. Please take this opportunity to jumpstart the completion of necessary enrollment forms, learning what to expect and preparing your child for Kindergarten and meeting our current Kindergarten teachers, school staff and other parents. You and your child are welcome to join us in the Media Center earlier at 8:00 a.m.     

WHAT TO BRING: A parent or legal guardian should be present to attend the Kindergarten registration event with the following documents: Birth Certificate, Proof of Residency (Utility bill, rental agreement, purchase of house agreement), Immunization Records, and Health Assessment (this form will be provided to you at registration). If you do not have all of these documents, please join us at registration anyways. You will be required to provide these documents before your child begins Kindergarten in August 2020.
