The Spivey Family, in partnership with The Sunny View Clubhouse, is honored to extend the Norman L. Spivey Memorial Scholarship in support of Polk County students again in 2020.

Created to honor the memory of Norman L. Spivey, a Polk County native who attended Polk Central High School. Norman served in the US Marine Corps, had a very successful career as a civil engineer and was also a passionate conservationist and community volunteer. He held a deep appreciation of nature and understood our individual responsibility in preserving our local resources for future generations.

Our family’s goal is to continue the tradition of making lasting contributions to the fields of civil engineering and conservation through investment in our future generation and their education.
