Due to predictions of snow Thursday, possibly beginning in the morning, all Polk County Schools will be closed on Thursday, Feb. 20.

Polk County Schools Superintendent Aaron Greene in making the announcement to parents, said the school system was going to be on the safe side, as the predictions are that snow could quickly accumulate.

Thursday will be a teacher work day.
