Tryon has nine new public parking spaces

TRYON–If you have ever been to Tryon, you understand the frustration of finding somewhere to park in town. Whether you are here for work or leisure, it can become very aggravating driving back and forth hoping someone will back out so you can snatch the spot.

In this holiday season, a few more parking spots were added to downtown. Parking that was once reserved has now been changed to visitor parking.

This new parking lot is located on the corner of Palmer Street and Oak Street behind the Tryon Daily Bulletin offices. There are nine spots available facing Palmer Street. The remaining spots in the lot are reserved and not for public parking. These areas are marked as reserved for White Oak Manor.
