Columbus, NC—Rosia Lee Dameron Corn, 79, of Columbus, NC passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019.

 

Rosia was the daughter of the late J.D. and Sally Jane Blackwell Dameron.  She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Rosia loved taking care of everyone and everything including feeding the birds and wildlife.  She loved flowers and working in her flower and vegetable gardens. Rosia attended Melvin Hill Church of the Brethren.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Larry Don Corn and three sisters, Alma, Mildred, and Fannie.

 

Surviving are four children, Tim Corn, Dan Corn (Barbara), Susan Dale (Chris) and Dennis Corn; two sisters, Jo Hyler and Annie McFalls; two grandchildren, Whitney Hess (Branden) and Josh  Corn and one great grandson, Kellin Parker Hess.

 

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Melvin Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery with Rev. Craig Scruggs officiating.
