Tryon holds annual Christmas parade

TRYON–Tryon held their annual Christmas parade on Wednesday evening. Tryon residents and members of the surrounding communities lined both sides of Trade Street to watch as the bright and colorful floats glided past, tossing candy as they went.  The kids watching from the streets ecstatically received the treats from each passing float. 

 

The Town of Tryon was represented well as there were local law enforcement vehicles participated in the parade. Vehicles from surrounding cities were present as well. Mayor Peoples rode his colorful van through the parade, along with local churches, a gymnastics club, politicians and many organizations and businesses. 

 

Although the temperature was a bit chilly, everyone who came out seemed to have a wonderful time bringing the Christmas spirit into Tryon for the season.
