The Town of Tryon had a discharge of untreated wastewater from manhole #10, located near the intersection of Braewick Rd and Melrose Avenue Ext. The discharge caused an overflow of approximately 10,000 gallons.  Discharge occurred on 05 December 2019 and lasted for approximately 1 (one) hour. The untreated wastewater entered into an unknown tributary of Little Creek.

This notice is required by North Carolina General Statutes Article 21, Chapter 143-215.1C.
