The annual Landrum Christmas parade will be Saturday, December 14 at 2:00 p.m. If there are any local businesses or organizations that are interested in joining the parade and have not yet reserved a spot yet, please contact Landrum Fire Chief Warren Ashmore to register for a spot in the parade.

If the parade is not enough to get you into the Christmas spirit, there are more festive events planned for the whole day.

For the first time, children and parents are invited to a brunch with Santa. The event will take place at the Landrum Depot from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Kids are encouraged to come in the pajamas. The theme for the brunch is the classic Christmastime favorite, The Polar Express.

Following the parade families are invited to stick around town to shop and visit with Santa. He will be posing for pictures at Mochas’ Mug, located at 212 Rutherford Street, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Everyone is encouraged to come out and enjoy the Christmas spirit.
