CAMPOBELLO-Campobello rang in the Christmas spirit by hosting their annual Christmas parade on Sunday. Many Campobello residents along with neighboring communities came out to enjoy the festive floats while the kids enjoyed all of the candy.

The parade route began at the Spartanburg District One office and heading down Highway 176, ending just past the Dutch Plate Restaurant.

Local law enforcement, churches and businesses were well represented throughout the parade. Spartanburg County Sheriff, Chuck Wright was also one of the participants in the parade riding his horse along side some of the Campobello town council members. Others parade participants included the boy scouts and local athletic clubs.

With the farming heritage of Campobello, it was no surprise to see antique tractors throughout the parade. Brands including John Deere and Massey Ferguson are just a couple of tractors represented during the parade.

It was a wonderful kick-off to the holiday season as Santa made his annual visit as well on top of one of the many fire trucks in the parade.
