LANDRUM- You may have seen a new business pop up in downtown Landrum recently. Originally opening up two years ago in Greer, SC, Southern Karma is now located at 202 East Rutherford St.
The boutique started as a mobile bus boutique. Business owner Michelle Lee McKinney shared that during their time of not having a store front, their largest way of selling items was to attend local vendor events as well as being able to sell items online.
McKinney said they decided to place roots in Landrum simply because she believes it is such a wonderful little town. She mentioned how nice everyone is and loves that those in the community are always willing to help out when needed.
McKinney continued, “It feels amazing to be a part of the Landrum business community. I absolutely love it here and look forward to many years in the Landrum area.”
She described the style for Southern Karma as young contemporary, but she had no doubt that everyone can find something they would love in the store.
Southern Karma boutique focuses on young adult fashion but it is no secret that they have clothing for all ages. Young girls have the chance to grab a fun, spunky country music related two-piece outfit, flare pants and all.
As for older girls and women, Southern Karma has up to date fashion forward trends entering their doors weekly including jewelry, shoes, purses and bags.
McKinney looks forward to meeting more of the Landrum community. If you are looking for new trendy clothing items visit the ladies at Southern Karma Boutique and Jewelry.
